Why Steep started
The idea for Steep came out of early mornings in Utah. Chasing powder days, trying to make first chair, or working on whatever I was passionate about that day and just getting after it.
The energy drinks I reached for left me crashing and tasted like melted lollipops, which I’m just not about anymore. Other caffeine sources were hard on my gut. And the yerba mate was either loaded with sugar or tasted awful.
I wanted something that didn’t compromise on ingredients, flavor, or performance. I couldn’t find it, so I made Steep.
Something I’d actually enjoy drinking, whether I was surfing, on a long road trip, hanging out with friends, or getting after a project I cared about. And a brand that felt like it belonged in that life.
That’s where the idea for Steep came from. It was the drink I wanted for my own days. I absolutely love it and the lift it gives me to pursue what I’m passionate about. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
